A rather tasteless recipient for our award this week. Most w*nkers are just stupid, really, but this one is both stupid and an unprincipled bully. Anyway, there is no doubt that he's a w*nker, and he's the sort of w*nker that deserves to be publicised, tasteless or not, so … He is Councillor Alan Burkitt from West Bromwich, who sits on Sandwell Council as an independent, presumably because his fellow Tories now want nothing to do with him. Alan is a trained nurse, but has been without a job for a while so he and his girlfriend of eight years, a woman described as "easily led with an IQ of 52 and mild learning difficulties", were in some financial difficulties and couldn't pay the mortgage. Alan, however, that resourceful political animal, soon had a solution. He thought of the little quote he had placed on Sandwell Borough Council's website: "I hope I have been able to achieve a good relationship with local residents and I have done my best to be accessible …." - and made himself even more accessible by advertising himself and his girlfriend on the internet for sex at £50 a time. Sex-god Alan Burkitt (sucking a Fisherman's Friend, presumably) Surprisingly, nobody was interested in having sex with Alan, but his girlfriend did rather well. More than 20 men paid £50 each for her services while Alan sat in the room next door. In all she earned him about £1,300. It all ended when the woman began to suspect that Alan was having it off with someone else, and complained to her family who told the police. Alan has been given a 12-month suspended sentence after pleading guilty to four counts of causing prostitution. He has also been sacked from the Council. Nice one, Alan. Not only did you seriously overestimate your own appeal as an internet stud, but you pulled a fast one over your girlfriend who didn't know any better. And although the world is full of pimps who drive around in black Beamers wearing RayBans and loads of bling and never get caught, you did it all in such a stupid manner that you got your collar felt when all you'd made was £1,300 which won't even make a dent in most mortgages these days. What a tosspot. either on this site or on the World Wide Web. This site created and maintained by PlainSite |
